Representatives of the National Agency for Cannabis Control (NACC) participated in the international conference “Cannabis Europa London 2025,” held on June 24–25, 2025, at the Barbican Centre in London. The aim of the participation was to strengthen institutional capacities through the exchange of international best practices and the establishment of contacts with key stakeholders in the medical cannabis industry and European regulators.

The conference’s objective was to create a platform for cooperation and dialogue on the future of the medical cannabis market in Europe. Key discussion topics included regulatory challenges, legal fragmentation within the European Union, the need for harmonized national approaches, the inclusion of clinical data in decision-making, and the role of emerging Technologies, such as artificial intelligence and blockchain, in enhancing product safety and traceability.

Throughout the two-day event, regulatory experiences and models from countries such as Germany, France, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland were presented, with a focus on public policies, EU-GMP certification processes, training of healthcare professionals, and the development of sustainable ecosystems for medical cannabis. Special attention was given to the integration of innovative technologies in support of a transparent and secure market.
