The General Director of the National Cannabis Control Agency, Mrs. Linda Pustina, the General Director of the National Cannabis Control Agency, held a bilateral meeting on December 2, 2024, with the Senior Advisor of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)<\/strong>, Mr. Norman Birenbaum. Takimi u fokusua n\u00eb \u00e7\u00ebshtje t\u00eb r\u00ebnd\u00ebsishme q\u00eb lidhen me zbatimin e kritereve t\u00eb licencimit, n\u00eb p\u00ebrputhje me Ligjin nr. 61\/2023, “P\u00ebr kontrollin e kultivimit dhe p\u00ebrpunimit t\u00eb bim\u00ebs s\u00eb cannabis-it dhe prodhimin e n\u00ebnprodukteve t\u00eb saj p\u00ebr q\u00ebllime mjek\u00ebsore dhe industriale n\u00eb Shqip\u00ebri<\/em>” dhe implementimin e GMP-ve.<\/p>\n

The discussions focused on fulfilling the detailed and rigorous requirements that entities applying for a license must meet, with the aim of ensuring compliance with the highest standards and specific conditions outlined in the law, as well as the application of federal standards and best manufacturing practices.<\/p>\n

Mr. Birenbaum expressed his willingness to support NACC in addressing challenges, helping ensure compliance with international standards and accelerating the development of a safe, sustainable, and competitive industry in Albania.<\/span><\/p>\n
